This was a labor of love in more than one way 
Love for the amazing products our client, Margarita Palaez (Colombia’s most highly acclaimed shoe designer) creates through her brand (GULA), the love and passion we put into our own work, and our well-documented love of shoes… GULA’s new site features full e-commerce capabilities in Colombia, a challenge we embraced gladly.
Love for the amazing products our client, Margarita Palaez (Colombia’s most highly acclaimed shoe designer) creates through her brand (GULA), the love and passion we put into our own work, and our well-documented love of shoes… GULA’s new site features full e-commerce capabilities in Colombia, a challenge we embraced gladly.
Part of the challenge was integrating the site’s e-commerce platform with Colombia’s leading payment gateway, pagosonline, for which we developed a WordPress plug-in from scratch. In addition to showcasing GULA’s amazing collections, the site also boasts neat features such as a pervasive ajax-powered shopping cart, “cloud zoom” to get a closer look of the products, fully responsive coding making it iPhone, iPad and overall smartphone/tablet friendly, product variations, coupons, and inventory management, among others.
